See a Makeup Professional

About three weeks before your wedding date, it’s important to focus a great deal on your skin. Chances are you’ll be getting nervous and your skin is going to get fussy. Be sure you’re getting enough rest, drinking enough water and cleansing regularly. It’s also a great time to see a professional makeup artist. While most brides can’t afford to hire a professional makeup artist to apply the makeup and touch up before the wedding photographer takes pictures, you can often get a free bridal consultation at Sephora or other makeup counters in your local mall. These consultations can help you better understand what types of foundation will last through your wedding day sweat and tears.

Wedding Makeup Ideas: Beauty Tips for Eyes, Lips, and Skin

Every woman wants to look and feel beautiful on her wedding day. From wedding makeup to the wedding gown, each process is often planned far in advance. However, when the big day comes, many last minute things can occur and brides should be prepared for wedding makeup meltdowns with these helpful preparation tips.

Simple Wedding Makeup Beauty

While your wedding day is a time you can choose to glamour-up your look, it’s not a great day to take on a huge risk. The basics are really all you did for your big day. Look for a foundation which will give you a dewy glow, without leading to shine. Choose waterproof mascara for your lashes, in case you get a bit emotional throughout the ceremony. Choose a colored gloss for your lips and forgo heavy lip liners and lipsticks. Make your eyes the focus of your face, by applying a rich hue of brown, gray or lavender to your lids. Smudge darker colored eyeliner onto the top of your upper lash line for a smoky look. Remember, you want to look like yourself, just with a more beauty forward wedding style added into the mix.

Formal or Casual Wedding?

Many brides make it easy for guests and state on the wedding invite what type of dress is most appropriate. Some brides require black tie dress, which essentially is code for the fact men should wear a tuxedo and women should choose cocktail style dresses. If you’re still not certain what is most appropriate for the wedding, think about asking the mother of the bride. She may be able to help give you advice on what the bride expects of her guests.

Daytime or Evening Wedding?

The time of day a wedding is held is a great indication of what you should wear to the event. Evening weddings are traditionally more formal than afternoon or daytime weddings. If you’re unsure what to wear, you can always pair your little black dress with various accessories until you feel comfortable. Many women stick casual accessories and elegant accessories in their handbag to take along. Then, they slip into the bathroom after viewing the other guests to choose which ones to adorn.

Seasonal Ideas and Tips

One of the main things to consider when trying to find something at Macys or Nordstrom for an upcoming wedding you’re attending is the season of the wedding. Whether the wedding is in summer or winter can make a huge difference on what you should wear. Typically, a summer wedding can call for a more casual look in wedding attire overall. Even if the summer wedding isn’t held on a beach, guests often wear beautiful summer dresses and men can even get away with forgoing a suit coat in many cases.Fabrics are often lighter and free in flow and floral prints are extremely popular choices for wedding guests. Summer weddings also allow for brighter colors in dresses and short styles in length. However, keep in mind you should always dress appropriately and not show too much skin. In addition, flip flops are a “no-no” so choose dress shoes or even beautiful sandals.

The Perfect Wedding Guest Outfit: Ideas and Etiquette

When you’re a wedding guest, thinking about the outfit you’ll wear to the wedding ceremony can be a challenge. While most people know wearing a white dress to a wedding is taboo (the bride is the only one who should traditionally wear white), the choices of appropriate and inappropriate wedding clothing can still seem overwhelming. To help you easily get though the rules and etiquette of wedding clothes, use these tips and helpful ideas when choosing what to wear to a wedding.

Form 15 marriage certificate

his is the official site of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Program. Anything you read elsewhere that is inconsistent with this site is not accurate.
Marriage celebrants prepare three certificates for each marriage solemnised. They are:
the certificate that will be forwarded to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages for the registration of the marriage
the certificate given to the couple as their official record of the marriage—the Form 15 certificate, and
the certificate retained by the marriage celebrant for their records.
From 1 September 2005, the prescribed Form 15 marriage certificate is the only certificate that can be given to a couple at their marriage. Marriage celebrants must record the number of each certificate issued and the details of the ceremony on the ‘Record of Use’ form supplied with each pack. The Record of Use form can also be downloaded from this site.
The Record of Use form must be retained by the marriage celebrant for a minimum of 6 years.
Old Form 15 marriage certificates, that is any pre-1 September 2005 version, can no longer be issued. Please dispose of safely any unused stock (eg by shredding or incineration).
The certificates must be purchased from the authorised supplier only. Orders can be placed by telephoning the authorised supplier, Canprint Communications, on its toll-free number: 1300 656 863.

Honeymoon Countdown Calendar 1 week before

Confirm all travel arrangements.
Make a copy of your travel itinerary, including phone and fax numbers where you can be reached, and leave it with friends or family in case of emergency.
Pack medications, a change of clothes and toothbrushes, as well as tickets, passports and money, in your carry-on bag. Save room for honeymoon gifts if you receive any at the wedding.

Honeymoon Countdown Calendar 3 months before

Make your reservations and charge all necessary deposits. Keep a record of confirmation numbers and requests for things like non-smoking rooms, king-size beds and window seats.
Be sure that your official travel documents, such as your passports and any necessary visas, are in order.
Research travel insurance, and purchase whatever coverage you need.

Honeymoon Countdown Calendar 6 months before

While you're doing the wedding planning, discuss the type of honeymoon you want—whether you crave a sunny beach vacation, a rugged hike in the mountains or a cruise to places full of history and culture. Keep in mind that if you are planning a large wedding, you will be tired and may not want to maintain a hectic schedule.
Determine how much time off from work you will be able to take. Some trips—such as those to the South Pacific and Asia—require too much travel time and acclimation to the time difference to be taken comfortably in just one week.
Start reading up on potential destinations. Look through travel books, magazines and the travel section of your local newspaper. Discuss your honeymoon dreams together and imagine what different trips would be like.
Set a realistic budget, factoring in everything from the plane tickets and the hotel fees to meals and souvenirs. The first few weeks after the wedding are not the time to accrue credit card debt.
