Though the nikaah was a hush hush affair, the couple’s parents will host a reception party to celebrate the wedlock. As many as 5000 guests are said to have been invited and many Bollywood celebs are also expected to attend the function to congratulate Ayesha.

The bride reportedly wore a traditional gold-coloured sharara while the groom was dressed in a white sherwani. Ayesha looked stunning in her wedding finery with her head covered with a dupatta. Actually, Ayesha is not used to wearing traditional clothes. She generally wears western outfits.

The wedding was originally planned for December last year but was postponed after the November 26 terror attacks in Mumbai. Finally, on March 1, the couple entered wedlock in a low-key ceremony. They had a nikaah at Farhan’s own restaurant at Colaba on Sunday night. Only family members and very close friends of the couple attended the wedding.
