Marriage Proposals

Turn a romantic vacation into her dream come true. Under the Hawaiian moon, as the sun sets against the Pacific Ocean, perhaps the Hawaiian entertainment begins playing the Hawaiian Wedding Song…Here’s some other ideas to spark your imagination…
EXPRESS YOUR LOVE...in Hawaiian. Say “I love you” with “Aloha Au Ia 'Oe” and then tell her she’s the one.
UNDER THE HULA MOON – The stars, the ocean waves and a secluded sandy shore and one special Hawaiian star in the sky. Tell her the story of the Hawaiian star called, “Aloha Au Ia 'Oe”. When she asks, you can tell her it translates to “I love you” in Hawaiian and then pluck the star from the sky with your hand and place it on her finger.
A NEW HAWAIIAN WEDDING SONG – Songs sounds better when played on the ukulele. Make a special request to have the live entertainment of a romantic restaurant play “your song” Hawaiian style.
SAND, SUN AND I DO – Write your names in the sand…”Johnny loves Stacey”…followed by...”will you marry me?” Do the writing far enough away from the waves!
PICNIC PROPOSAL – Whisk her away to a beautiful secluded beach with a nice picnic basket in tow. As you busily set up the blanket on the sand, ask her to take out the food and champagne. Carefully arrange the items such as fresh fruit and write “Will” and then “you” and then “marry” and then “me?” on the last item. This is great for the good natured fiancĂ©.
BREATH TAKING VISTAS – Atop Diamond Head Crater or at Nuuanu Pali Lookout, you and your honey will have million dollar views of Oahu. When asked, lie and say the view is not that great. Take her breath away by proposing to someone far more beautiful than the scenery.
SOMETHING FISHY- Share a nice dinner at the Oceanarium Restaurant in Waikiki where there’s a huge fish tank. Make sure to have a front row seat and arrange for the diver to place your written proposal in the window by your table.
LUAU LOVE – Are you shy? Knock her socks off by declaring your love at a luau! As the dancers ask for volunteers surprise your honey by raising your hand and dragging her along on stage. What would ever make a shy guy dance hula on stage? Have the dancers surround the both of you and then show her that you’ll do anything for the one you love.
NEW BEGINNINGS – The sunrise is always a beautiful and meaningful event. A sunrise on a beautiful island beach adds a little punch. With champagne and picnic basket in hand, as the sun creeps and the Hawaiian sky is filled with golden hues…show her another band of gold as you start a new chapter of your life…the one that never ends.
HAWAIIAN DREAMS & SUNSETS – On the last day of your Oahu romance, watch the sunset together and as the sun falls along the horizon and the sky is at its most beautiful, tell her the trip was a dream come true. Ask her to help make one more dream to come true.
